Auto Dolly 16″ Standard Duty Dolly Set of 4

The Auto Dolly is placed under each tire of the vehicle, making the vehicle a rolling cart that will now roll in any direction with ease. The large roller bearing casters make it simple for anyone to move the vehicle in any direction. Each dolly has a 1,500 lbs. weight capacity. Put your car on skates and move it easily to save space in your garage. The Standard Duty Auto Dolly comes in three sizes: 8 inches, 12 inches, and 16 inches wide.

The 16″ Auto Dolly made by Merrick Machine Co. is perfect for your wide profile ‘fat’ tires and slicks. Some people get a set of four. Others get a pair for the back tires of their American muscle car, race car, or European exotic, while getting a standard pair for the front. Many dragster owners will get a pair of 16″ for the back and a pair of 8″ for the front. 

Facilitating Easy Vehicle Moving and Storage

Like all of our casters for The Auto Dolly, the standard caster contains a mar-resistant polyolefin wheel that also features a crown profile. The crown profile wheel means less rolling resistance in contact with the ground. The wheel profile also helps to pinch small debris out of the path, rather than coming to a screeching halt.

The 8″ wide Auto Dolly was designed especially for the earlier narrow tires and wheel of vintage and collectible cars and trucks. Naturally, a narrower tire will fit on a 12″ or a 16″ wide Auto Dolly, but the 8″ Auto Dolly looks better and costs less to manufacture and ship, resulting in a savings over our bigger models.
