Lift King LK4053 Box Attachment & Bushing Kit
The Lift King LK4053 Box Attachment & Bushing Kit attaches to Lift King with little effort in the matter of seconds. The Lift King with the Box Attachment is designed to be used by one person and perform the installation or removal of a pickup box without physical strain on the operator. It reduces time, increases labor productivity, and reduces the risk of worker compensation claims. In addition to the attachment this kit comes with all necessary bushings to attach to virtually every truck bed.

Operators remove pickup boxes to change fuel pumps, perform collision work, restoration, paint work and many other reasons. Currently shops use fork lifts, items rigged up to engine hoists, overhead cranes and unfortunately in several cases four or five of their operators.

The Lift King is not the only way to remove a pickup box, it is the safest and most efficient way to remove a pickup box.

Front Mount Photo: The Front mount photo will show how the pickup box is secured by sliding the front mount under the box rail. The technician show extend the boom so the box attachment mount slides under the bed rail just ahead of the wheel wells (not to the front of the bed).

Alternative Mount Photo: The alterative mount (seat belt straps with a hook) is designed to only be used if the collision damage is extreme and the box is out of square. It would also be used if the box has no hardware such as tail gate hinge pins. The technician would place the stapes with the hook under the bed lip and apply a little pressure to secure it. When using this application the box will have a small amount of movement when it is lifted off the frame. It is still a one technician installation or removal process.

Box Attachment & Bushing Kit Photo: This photo shows the two forward under the box rail mounts, two rear tail gate hinge pin mounts and two alternative mounts. There are four bushings and these are included with the box attachment (SKU # LK4053). In the early 2000’s and prior, all tailgate hinge pins were similar in size and the bushings were not needed. In the later 2000’s several OEM’s reduced the size of the hinge pins, the bushings provided are to adapt to the smaller tailgate hinge.

Will it lift a dually box? The lift is rated for 500lbs, it passed testing at 1,000lbs and comes with a 1,000lb brake winch. Lifting a 350lb pickup bed or semi hood is a very easy process
What if the box is new and don’t have any hardware? How can I lift it? There is a secondary rear mount feature (seat belt looking item with a hook). An example of why this feature would be used, if a new pickup bed needed to be lifted and the bed was bare of hardware (no tailgate hinge pins) the seat belt strap would connect under the rear bed lip. It would also be used if the truck was hit hard in the rear bed area and the bed was out of square.
How long does it take to put the box attachment on the lift? A couple of seconds with no tools needed.
What if a new design comes out and the box attachment will not connect to the pickup box? Network 1 Solutions will design an attachment to overcome changes and contact all customers that have previously purchased a box attachment.

Lift King Warranty Statement
One (1) year unconditional warranty under normal wear. “Normal use” means for the purpose intended (e.g. pick-up truck box removal, topper removal, doors and semi hoods) at or below the load weights indicated for the product. “Normal wear does not include use in extreme environments (e.g., high or low temperatures, or environments with high chemical or dust concentrations).

Network 1 Solutions will replace all parts determined to be defective. To make a warranty claim, the buyer must first contact Network 1 Solutions and provide pictures of the tool and the defective part(s). All defective parts must be shipped to Network 1 Solutions for examination.

The following voids the warranty: Removal of components or hardware provided by Network 1 Solutions at the date of original purchase. Buyer’s modifications to the product or use of attachments other than Network 1 Solution’s products. Improper assembly of the product. Removal/concealment of any safety decals or labeling.

This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the initial buyer identified in the purchase records of Network 1 Solutions. There are no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a purpose, and the scope of the warranty is limited to that described above.
